Portable

This black beauty weighs a total of 7.8 pounds and has product dimensions of 17.6 x 13.5 x 4.7 inches. Such a lightweight object, the cooktop is very portable and can be easily carried around, the compact design means that it can be placed anywhere in the kitchen and it won’t take much space.

The black color also makes it fit in well in any kitchen, complementing the aesthetics of your kitchen. This versatile cooktop can be used for all home purposes in RV’s and even for small parties such as dinners, get together and family reunions.

Cooking Zone

The cookware has a diameter of 9″ which is in the standard range for all portable electric induction cooktop. Standard rating implies that cooktops with diameters above 10″ cannot be regarded as portable cooktops. But since a flat-surfaced cooktop, pans with a diameter up to 11″ can actually be used on it, the heat evenly distributed across the base of the pan.

The heating zone is marked with a lighter shade of black, so you know where you should place your pans for the cooktop to work. As with all induction cooktops, only induction cookware (cookware with magnetic properties) can be used with this cooktop.

Control Panel

The touch-sensitive LED controls featured on this cooktop are easy to operate. They are located on the front part of the unit, and the functionality is easy to grasp. The control features a power on/off button, the timer control, temperature setting control. The heating surface is made of scratch-resistant Vitro ceramic glass, which is pretty standard with induction cooktops.

The Vitro ceramic material is not sticky, so you need to wipe it clean with a towel after each use, do make sure that you wait till the cooktop cools down before you try to clean it, so you don’t get burned.

Temp Control

The temperature control features 10 power levels, from which you can easily select a suitable temperature using the temperature control feature. The timer is useful for setting the cooking duration, this will help you take your time to do other things in between cooking without having to worry about the food getting burnt or overcooked.

The different power levels support cooking in all modes- boiling, frying, heating, and even low heat simmering. The maximum power output, however, is 1300 watts.

Auto Shut-off

This cooktop is well equipped with safety features to keep you and your kids clear of injuries or harms. It has a built-in hot surface indicator that shows if the cooktop is still hot or has cooled down to a level that is not dangerous to touch. An automatic shut-off feature is also available on this device; it automatically puts off the cooktop when the set time on the timer is elapsed and after 30 seconds of inactivity when the cooktop is put on.

Control Lock

Thus no power is wasted if you mistakenly leave the device plugged in the power outlet and on.
A control lock is also equipped, which prevents control functions from being accidentally turned on or mistakenly operating the controls while cooking.

Warranty

The cooktop also comes with warranties in three different categories, which include; the manufacturer warranty, 1-year warranty for parts replacement, and 1-year warranty for labor.

  • Very sleek black colored design with LED touch controls
  • Efficient heating capacity with precise temperature control
